A Conversation On Ukraine

Members of the Centenary community, along with so many others around the world, watched with shock and horror as Russian military forces launched an unprovoked attack on the sovereign nation of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

As the conflict neared its one month mark in March, Centenary president Dr. Christopher L. Holoman and assistant professor of political science Dr. Amanda Donahoe hosted a conversation to share their combined expertise in international politics and international relations and provide some context for the conflict for the Centenary community.

Donahoe said, “We were impressed, as always, with the thoughtfulness of the questions we received and the deep desire within our campus community to be informed and active citizens of the world.”

In May 2022, the conflict continues with no clear end in sight.
