Commencement 2025



Centenary College of Louisiana awarded diplomas to nearly 100 students of the Spring Class of 2025 during the commencement on May 3, 2025, at the Gold Dome.

Ten students with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.9 or higher graduated summa cum laude.  Twelve graduated magna cum laude with GPAs between 3.7 to 3.89, and nine achieved cum laude with GPAs of 3.5 to 3.69. 

Dr. Marjorie Hass, president of the Council of Independent Colleges, delivered the commencement address.  Shreveport’s Second Line Brass Band led the procession out of the Gold Dome with a New Orleans-style parade.
