Office Space: Dr. Chrissy Martin
Dr. Chrissy Martin’s infectious personality and passion for poetry captivates students and splashes onto the walls of her cozy office in Jackson Hall. This is Dr. Martin’s first year at Centenary, but she has quickly made connections with her students. Her office space provides an energizing atmosphere where students can come to have their poetry work edited or discuss the latest TikTok trend. Connecting with students on a one-on-one level is important to Dr. Martin and her office provides the perfect backdrop. Pink and whimsical, it quickly calms any fears students may have about meeting with a professor.

Dr. Martin holds a PhD in Poetry from Oklahoma State University and teaches poetry, literature, and first year writing and poetry at Centenary.
